For over 30 years I worked in an artisan wood shop in the Italian island of Sardinia. I began as an apprentice at 15 and worked my way up as an essential part of renowned wood shop Erminio Caria (see Davide's previous work here). I developed my experience under two master wood smiths until I could join their rank and manage as principle smith before I departed for America. Sales of our work were in demand all over the world, from Italy to Dubai.
